A few years ago I made a Fire Engine puzzle (puzzle #12, no picture) for a nephew and now it was his sister's turn!

June 3, 2006

Saturday 3:20 pm - I decided the next puzzle will be a K. Chin mass produced print, Three Owls in Tree (my name), for my niece. I will make the puzzle within the next few days.

Sunday 4:25 pm - Finally, I created the very long promised Lichen section. As the pictures were taken from different angles and distances over the years, aligning the photos using Photoshop was difficult and not particularly satisfactory. However, progression of the growth can be discerned.

Wednesday 10:29 am - Been a delay in making the next puzzle, #670 Three Owls in Tree..... I finally mounted the print this morning. I expect to cut the puzzle tomorrow. Will have the five letters "CATIE" as figurals randomly placed in the puzzle. The puzzle will have around 50 pieces and will be cut in my Creative style with biggish pieces.

Thursday 11:35 am - Puzzle #670, renamed to Catie's Puzzle is done. An excellent little puzzle 9" x 12" with 60 Swirl Curl pieces (changed my mind from Creative). This puzzle is a present for my six year old niece.

Saturday 12:34 am - Shipped #669, Imperial Beach Pier, Friday afternoon. #670, Catie's Puzzle, will be hand delivered next week [via a trip to New Orleans].

The next 100 Puzzles Project puzzle auction will be delayed until after I return from New Orleans, the puzzle auction will be launched in the last week of June. I may still make the puzzle before I leave for New Orleans on the 16th.

Wednesday 3:15 pm - Returned from New Orleans late yesterday afternoon, had a great time. I plan to establish a New Orleans webpage with pictures, stay tuned. There are still wide swaths of massive damage with pockets of recovery.
