Stock Market Meets a Virus

This work was created in 1999 when worrying about contagions like Ebola
I've been meaning to create a "wood art" work based of this idea, but as of year 2020 I haven't done so
However with the emergence of another virus (the 2019-nCoV Coronavirus originating in China) and the corresponding initial fears in the stock market I decided to publish this work as is
Unfortunately the original work was destroyed, this image was derived from a scan of a photograph of the work

Perhaps someday I'll have a second work with chaos as input and order as output thanks to the ingenuity of vaccine development
