Artists Featured Once or Twice Prints from which Wooden Jigsaw Puzzles may be ordered |
|
Over the years as a puzzle maker, occasionally I'll spot a work of art by a local artist that I see will make an excellent puzzle. Some of the artists have become "Featured Artists", some artists prefer not to make their work available as puzzles on an on-going basis and some artists have been discontinued due to lack of consumer puzzle interest. This section features images from artists from whose work I've made just a couple or so puzzles. Some artists in this section have elected to no longer make their work available, some may become "Featured Artists" if there is more interest.
The puzzles on this page are still available.

There is so much to explore within the lavish cyclone of color in a painting by Renée Tay. Influenced by the folk arts of Russia, Europe and Mexico. Impassioned by the intricacy of Persian and East Indian miniatures.
Deliberately abandoning structured rules, her paintings speak most wittily from a surprising place - the invisible. She paints the magic she once saw in a meditation, tiny dancing lights of such splendor and color. This hidden energy burst forth in every painting.
Born in California in 1960. Trained both as a fine and commercial artist. Entertained various careers such as management within the symphony, spawning rainbow trout, wardrobe at the opera and selling Latin American folk arts.
For over 15 years Renée Tay has been a professional artist. Only recently though, unable to contain expression within small canvases, she obtained an art studio in the Little Italy section of San Diego and ventured into painting on large canvases.
Renee Tay is both an acrylic painter and a doll maker. In California, she has been exhibited in San Diego, Laguna and Newport Beach. Also in Las Vegas, Nevada and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
