This puzzle is a toughie! However, the are a wide variety of color combinations used in the multicolored "cosmic dots" to assist in finding particular pieces.
Referring to the picture below, the Cat in the first row, made her first appearance in "Large King Owl", the puzzle made before this one. The Kitten in the second row makes his debut in this puzzle.
