Red Flowers

This is a particularly beautiful Creative Style puzzle, one of my best. The broad light background helped a lot in the presentation of the cutting style.

Thursday 6:32 pm - Worked a couple hours this morning on Red Flowers and about an hour late this afternoon. Cutting going well but I still have several hours of work to do to complete the puzzle. I continue to expect to get the auction underway by late tomorrow afternoon.

Wednesday 7:50 pm - I spent all afternoon at my shop working on Red Flowers. It is about half done, cutting is going very well, with some cool Creative style cutting (a couple "pipe" cuts included). I'm going to try to get the puzzle done tomorrow but do have a class in the afternoon, so the puzzle might not get done until Friday morning. I still plan to launch the auction Friday. I've raised the projected number of pieces from 225 to 250.Wednesday 8:22 am

Tuesday 10:25 pm - Cutting now in progress on the K. Chin Red Flowers print. The paper is cutting very well, nice for a print that is probably 30 years old. I've cut the wavy border and some initial cutting, will spend a lot more time on it tomorrow. I expect to finish the puzzle on Thursday and will launch the auction on Friday.

Monday 11:27 pm - I've decided on a K. Chin print for this month's eBay puzzle. The print is untitled, so I am naming it Red Flowers, as the painting is a still life of a vase with a bouquet of flowers, with the red flowers being prominent. The puzzle will be around 14" x 11" with wavy border cut in Creative style with around 225 pieces and a couple figurals. I mounted it this evening and will design the wavy border tomorrow and start cutting. I expect to launch the auction this Friday. I'll have a picture here tomorrow.
