November 30, 2000
In a very, very long day of cutting, I made puzzle #62, a new Green Dragon puzzle, cut in the Creative style. Contains the 15 piece figural set of #54 (Imperial Silver Dragon) plus a new figural, a figural I've named "Dragon's Sword". This figural will appear in all subsequent Dragon puzzles and no other puzzles - I plan to post a dedicated page to this puzzle soon. This is the first time I've cut all figurals under a magnifying glass, on balance the figurals in this puzzle are the most precise I've cut so far - also cut a number of neat creative pieces - will have pictures later. Here is a picture of the Dragon's Sword figure piece (reverse - removed from puzzle, with non-puzzle colors showing through the void). I also worked to reduce the size of the Creative pieces - this puzzle has 328 pieces.
